SUMMARY:Rainbow Community Care's Broken Pot Workshop: Exploring Our Beautiful Brokenness Through Art
DESCRIPTION:What does a broken pot have to do with grief?\n\n \n\nWhen we experience a significant loss\, like the death of a loved one\, parts of us may be broken\, and we may fall apart. How can we put ourselves back together after experiencing grief and loss?\n\n \n\n\n\nRainbow Community Care's Bereavement team of Laura Wessels\, Hilary Furnish\, and Terry Hein will soon offer a free hands-on grief workshop called "Broken Pots." Participants will explore their grief through the activity of restoring a broken pot\, inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.\n\n \n\n\n\nIt takes place on Saturday\, February 7th from 10 a.m. to noon in the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center- Community Room and is open to anyone who would like to participate.\n\n \n\n\n\nThis experience has helped attendees better explore and understand their grief and find new meaning amid loss. If you or someone you know would like to attend the workshop\, please call (920) 674-6255 and reserve your spot today.\n\n\n\nThis is a free workshop\, and supplies will be provided.
