DESCRIPTION:The annual Randy Schopen Foundation Pretzel Polka Run\, Walk\, Zero K will be held Saturday\, September 16th. This family-friendly event will take place in conjunction with Gemuetlichkeit Days and will be held at the Jefferson County Fair Park. All proceeds from the event will go to The Randy Schopen Foundation grant program.\nThe Run\n\nThe 5K fun run will start and finish at the Jefferson County Fair Park. The run will be timed and awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers.\n\nThe Walk\n\nThe two-mile walk\, which starts and finishes at the Jefferson County Fair Park\, will be fun for all ages.\n\nWhat Is A "Zero K"?\n\nWant to help The Randy Schopen Foundation but running or walking isn't your thing? By registering for the Zero K option\, you'll get all the cool stuff\, including a free beer (must be 21 or over)\, the event t-shirt\, and all the free "swag" that is normally reserved for only the runners and walkers.  You will also get the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to make your community a better place.\n\nThe day of the event\, all the Zero K participants will line up at the starting line and walk over to the beer tent for their free beer.\n\n\n\nEvery registration includes a free beer (must be 21 or over)\, the event t-shirt\, and all the free "swag." Any registrations on or after September 1st will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.\n\nParking\n\nAmple parking will be available at the Jefferson County Fair Park.\n\nSpecial Thanks\n\nA special thank you to Gemuetlichkeit Days for their support of The Pretzel Polka Run/Walk.
