DESCRIPTION:June 5th\, 2021 will be the 22nd Annual Take a Kid Fishing Day by the Jefferson Kiwanis Club & Department of Natural Resources\, hosted by the Jefferson County Fair Park. Registration begins at Fair Park at 8am on Saturday\, June 5th. \n\n\n\nDNR free fishing weekend- no license required! Free bait will be provided by Gollon's Bait & Fish Farm. \n\n\n\nDoor prized include: fishing poles\, lures\, jigs\, tackle boxes and MORE! ** Must receive a button at registration to be eligible for door prizes. All participants will be entered into a drawing and postcards will be sent to lucky anglers to receive their fishing prizes on Saturday\, June 12th\, 2021 from 8am to 11am at Rock River Landing Park (629 N. Elizabeth Avenue\, Jefferson)\n\n\n\nExperienced fisherman and equipment available for children without a parent our guardian (contact Mike Bolger at 723-6628).
