Concerts for Kristina - Music by Thom McGorey

Rainbow Nurse Practitioner Kristina Heimsch has worked with us for many years and is not only a beloved coworker and friend but a bright light for the patients and families she's had a chance to serve in palliative and hospice care.

 

But Kristina and her family recently received some heartbreaking news. At age 37, she was diagnosed with an incurable form of esophageal cancer. Kristina is a young wife and mother and can no longer work and continue to help patients and families in need. She and her family face an uncertain future and the strain of medical bills and lost wages.

 

Rainbow Medical Director Dr. Thom McGorey has set up a special fundraising concert series to support Kristina and her family. He will perform at several local venues over the next few weeks. Dr. McGorey, besides his immense contributions to the lives of our patients and families, is a talented singer and musician. We hope you can join us and lend your support.

 

This edition of "Concerts for Kristina" takes place at Murdock's in Lowell (W8178 State Rd. 16/60) on Friday, January 3rd, from 5-8 p.m.
