Indie Under the Stars
Indie Under the Stars is a family-friendly drive-in movie experience where audiences watch five short independent films under the stars, rate each film, leave feedback for the filmmakers, and help decide which film continues on the tour.
It is like Amateur Night at the Apollo meets Siskel & Ebert, but for independent film at a classic outdoor theatre.
What makes this event special is that the audience is not just watching films — they become part of the creative process. They vote, comment, respond, and help decide which filmmaker gets another opportunity to be seen.
For independent filmmakers, especially Black filmmakers and emerging storytellers, this creates something powerful: a real audience, honest feedback, and a chance to move beyond online views into a shared community experience.
