Shop Manager
Now Hiring: Shop Manager – Franksville, WI
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise shop mechanics, including work assignments and performance management
• Ensure compliance with DOT inspections and maintain accurate reporting
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of trucks and off-road equipment
• Manage parts inventory, lubricants, and shop supplies
• Communicate daily truck status and coordinate repair priorities with operations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years fleet or heavy equipment maintenance experience
• Supervisory experience managing mechanics or technicians
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and preventive maintenance programs
• Experience with diagnostic software (Cummins INSITE, Mack/Volvo PTT, JPRO, Allison preferred)
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop/outdoor environment
Schedule: Approximately 50 hours per week (typically 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
