Part-Time ABE/GED Teacher
Position Summary: The ABE/GED Instructor provides individual and small group instruction to adult education students at the Jefferson County Jail. The instructor plans, documents, and evaluates student progress toward goals. The instructor provides direct, on-site instruction to assist students in achieving their individual learning goal. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively and confidentially with students and jail staff. A successful candidate will be required to pass all security
