About Us

Rainbow Hospice Care is a community based not-for-profit organization that provides a full spectrum of physical, emotional and spiritual care to chronically and terminally ill patients and their families in both in-home and inpatient settings. Founded in 1990, we’ve been serving residents in south-central Wisconsin for more than 25 years, supporting residents throughout Jefferson County, as well parts of Dane, Walworth, Dodge, Waukesha, Rock, and Columbus counties. In addition to ur main office in Jefferson, we operate a freestanding inpatient facility in Johnson Creek, a location that's easily accessible to our entire service area. Regardless of type of illness, age, race, gender, faith, ethnicity, insurance coverage or economic status, we treat all of our patients and their loved ones with the same respect, kindness and concern, focusing on quality of life, comfort and dignity, and personalized support tailored to each individual's unique needs and wishes. Hospice services are generally covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance plans. When a patient is ineligible for coverage or otherwise uninsured, care is never denied due to inability to pay.
