The Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Clinical Bodyworks Myofascial Release Center, LLC as its newest member.

Located at 230 South Main Street, Suite 108 in Jefferson, Clinical Bodyworks Myofascial Release Center, LLC is a trauma-informed care certified bodywork clinic specializing in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR) Approach, a therapeutic approach designed to address chronic pain, restore mobility, and improve overall physical function. As the founder and lead therapist, Cheryl Timm brings decades of experience helping clients overcome conditions such as low back pain, TMJ, migraines, sciatica, hip bursitis, carpal tunnel, rotator cuff issues, and more to regain a pain-free and active life through hands-on MFR Therapy.

Myofascial Release focuses on releasing restrictions in the body’s connective tissue (fascia) that can restrict movement and cause discomfort. MFR works by using gentle sustained pressure to improve flexibility and reduce pain.

Because the fascial system is a continuous, uninterrupted 3-dimensional web that runs from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet, it directly impacts and influences every system and motion center of the body. Fascial restrictions, which do not appear on standard medical tests (x-rays, MRI’s, CT scans, etc.), are frequently the root cause of chronic pain, immobility, and/or decreased function in millions of frustrated clients.
