Dairyland Collegiate League Joins the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce

The Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome the Dairyland Collegiate League (DCL) as a new member, commemorated with a plaque presentation on Wednesday, April 23rd.

The Dairyland Collegiate League is a premier summer baseball league for college athletes, providing a competitive playing environment while building strong community connections throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The league features teams in Lake Mills, Waterloo, Johnson Creek, Glendale, Waukesha, and Janesville.

“The Dairyland Collegiate League brings together opportunity for players and community pride,” said Megan Cooper, Executive Director of the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to welcome them to the Chamber and support them as they continue to build a special experience – not only for the players, but also for the communities that they partner with.”

In addition to competitive play, the DCL emphasizes player development, community involvement, and affordable family-friendly experiences. The league’s 2025 summer season promises exciting games and engaging events for baseball fans of all ages.

A vital component of the DCL's success is its Host Family Program, which connects players with local families who open their homes during the season (June 1 – July 30). Host families provide players with a bedroom, access to laundry and kitchen facilities, and a supportive environment. This experience often leads to lasting friendships, as many families and players stay in touch long after the season ends.
