Let the Good Times Grow! 2026 Jefferson County Fair Set for July 8–12 with New Theme & Fairest Search

Jefferson, WI — The Jefferson County Fair is already making plans for 2026, and today announced its Fair dates, theme, and details for the Fairest of the Fair program.

The Fair will once again be held during the second week of July. In 2026, fairgoers can enjoy the festivities from July 8–12, with static judging beginning as early as Sunday, June 28.

This year’s theme was chosen through community input. After narrowing down several ideas, the Fair posted the top five on social media in late August. Nearly two hundred votes came in, after the close of voting on September 1st the winning theme was tallied as: “Let the Good Times Grow.” The theme highlights growth, happiness, and enjoyment for all fairgoers in 2026.

Along with the dates and theme, the Fair is also rolling out the next stage of the Fairest of the Fair program. Nominations and applications are now open at JCoFair.com/Fairest. Current Fairest, Hanna Brattlie, has been encouraging exhibitors to apply and share their passion for the Fair. Nominations will be accepted through December 15, and applications are due by December 22.

“The 2025 Fair brought our community together and gave us the chance to celebrate our youth and the agricultural industry” said Sammy Garvey, Fair Coordinator. “With this year’s theme and more exciting announcements still to come, we’re planning a Fair that every fairgoer can enjoy.”
