Part-Time Reserve Officer

JOB TITLE: Part-Time Reserve Officer
HOURS: Various shift assignments day, evening, weekends
PAY: $15.00 per hour for parade duty.
- $15.00 per hour for special event and crowd control functions
- Training and ride-along duty not-compensated.

MAJOR DUTIES:
- Attend training as set forth by the Department
- Attend department meetings
- Direct traffic for parade and car show events
- Perform foot patrols and crowd control functions
- Volunteer for a minimum 1 four-hour ride-along per month

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
- No Felony Convictions
- Possess a strong community oriented service philosophy
- Self-motived
- Ability to promote a positive image in performing community related Police support functions
- Good physical condition
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work varying shift assignments
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Written application, oral interview, background investigation
- Health and psychological screening
