The Young joins the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce

Jefferson, WI – The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce welcomed The Young to its membership with a ribbon cutting and plaque presentation on Wednesday, August 21^st.

The Young, formerly known as the Young Auditorium, is a performing arts center located in Whitewater. Throughout the year, they bring acts such as comedy performances, music groups, lectures, theatre productions, and more. Though it’s located on the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater campus, performances are open to the public.

The space at The Young is also a unique venue that can accommodate conferences, meetings, weddings, or other special events. Reservations can include access to the full stage, outdoor courtyard, multi-purpose room, and terrace overlooking the campus gardens.

“The Young is such a great asset to our region,” said Jefferson Chamber Executive Director Megan Cooper. “They bring in unique acts and provide a space for community members and visitors to celebrate and be entertained.”
