School District of Jefferson - 5k Paraprofessional (3.75hrs/day)

Do you have a passion for helping kindergarten students learn and grow in a safe, supportive classroom environment? The School District of Jefferson is looking for a detail oriented and self-motivated individual to join our Kindergarten team at East Elementary. The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with our kindergarten students, while providing support to the kindergarten teacher.  Duties will include recess and lunch supervision of kindergarten students.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3.75 hours per day (7:45 am - 11:30 am or 11:15 am - 3:00 pm)
School-year position, student days only.

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to assist students in learning and to work cooperatively with professional staff, supervise and interact with students effectively, organize time and materials effectively, and assist in any of the school activities throughout the building, on the playground and on school-sponsored trips.
